Hertha gave themselves a chance of top spot by joining Wolves with 11 points after this victory. Unfortunately top scorer Hurley was out ill, so responsibility fell to the returning Lars and Christian to find the goals to put the pressure on.

Right from the kick-off Lars won the ball easily and raced through the middle only to be tripped by Botond and awarded a penalty. Facing his brother in goal he calmly slotted the ball home for a perfect start. Moments later Glenn came out on top as he raced from his line to deny the goalscorer. At the other end Balu parried from Marcell and Botond's follow-up was blocked by Szabolcs. Lars beat the offside trap, but having rounded Glenn saw his shot saved on the line by Botond. Hingl was next to sting Balu's palms with a sweet volley and within a minute he found Leonard with a neat pass, who controlled, steadied himself and buried the ball in the far corner for the equaliser. Lars and Anton almost put Hertha ahead again but Anton fired wide under pressure from Sam after Glenn had been drawn from his net.

Hertha began the second half as they did the first. This time it was Christian who skipped through the defence before firing home into the corner. The same player made the points safe after a strong run down the right and rocket of a shot which flew past Glenn at the near post! Marcell headed over Roma's best chance but the Reds did well to not concede again as Lars, Kostya and Christian tested Glenn while Simon saw his left footer come back off the post, leaving the full time score 3-1.

With a six-goal advantage in the league table Wolves knew that avoiding defeat would almost certainly result in them being crowned champions. On the other side, Hertha knew they must win well and hope Roma could do them a favour in the day's final game.

Jordan was keen to cement himself as the top scorer and almost opened the scoring but Glenn saved well with his legs. Anton broke clear down the right but his cross just evaded Lars and Till cleared over his own bar. Wolves were content to sit back and play on the break as Jelle dealt comfortably with Hertha's corners and the game's flow was disrupted by injuries to Lars and Christian.

At half-time the game was scoreless but a lapse in concentration from Christian at the kick-off gifted possession to Matthew who burst forward on the left. His teasing cross was placed perfectly between defenders and goalkeeper and as both hesitated, Till arrived on cue to finish from close range. Immediately Hertha went on the offensive, with Christian's back-post corner helped across the goal by Lars. Simon diverted the ball goalwards but Jelle was on hand to clear from the line! Jelle then found Till who slipped in Jordan but his rasping effort skimmed the outside of the post and went wide. Jelle then played a fantastic through ball from the left and Till timed his run perfectly to control past Glenn into the empty net for his 6th league goal. He then set up Jordan but his shot was deflected past Glenn to the back post and as Matthew and Anton challenged the ball came off the defender and in for the final goal. Christian and Till had close efforts but in the end it was Wolves who secured a comfortable victory to clinch the League title in style!

With the game rendered meaningless, Till set about searching for the four goals to tie Jordan at the top of the charts. Jordan had the ball in the net early on but was denied by an offside flag. His next effort was creeping goalwards as Glenn couldnt quite save but Till was on hand to make sure from a yard out and open the scoring.

After the break Jordan played a lovely ball over the top and Till made no mistake as he lofted the ball over a stranded Glenn and in. The next goal was pure class as Matt found Paul who in turn found Jelle. His first time pass to Till was met with the inside of his boot and the ball flew into the corner to complete a great one touch move. Jordan then had three chances to make sure of the golden boot but his efforts went agonisingly wide. Till then almost joined Jordan on ten goals but Glenn parried clear. From the resulting corner Jelle played a short ball to Till. It was appropriate that the league should finish as it had so often been with Till the provider and Jordan the finisher as the cross was met by a good close-range header to complete the scoring for an emphtic win.
