The Group 4 League 2009 has finished and Wolves are the deserved winners! As the boys collected their certificates the Roma and Hertha squads were left to wonder if things could have been different had they maintained a strong squad core, but too many missing players left both teams struggling at crucial points. Wolves, however, managed to keep their team together and celebrated their gold medals, with Jordan also collecting the Golden Boot award while Till was recognised for his fantastic contribution through his goals and also his assists. Well done to all who participated and especially to the Champions for 2009... WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS!!!

A total of 34 boys played in the three teams. The boys had to contend with playing the offside rule for the first time and adapted brilliantly (it seemed like more work for the referee than the players!). Also, with 3 yellows or one red card resulting in a one-match ban the boys had to be very clever to be on their best behaviour on the pitch!
