Buda Juniors International Football Club was formed in September 2001 by János Bánfi (pictured right, on the right), a former international football player with 14 years experience including 25 appearances with the Hungarian national team, 8 of those times as captain.

He saw the need for a multi-national, multi-lingual football club in Budapest, catering for children - and he has been proved right. In its first year Buda Juniors received over 140 registrations from members from all over the world and we now have members from 37 countries! (Hear from some of our members and their families.)

The club has now started its ninth season and is going from strength to strength. It is a thriving, happy place where children enjoy their football and improve their performances every week.

Because training sessions are conducted in English, this also helps members improve their language skills in a fun and fruitful environment. To ensure that all members understand instructions, our coaches place extra emphasis on the visual elements in the training to accommodate all nationalities.
